Today’s smartphones allow us to take an abundance of photographs and videos that must be preserved; therefore it is imperative that we create a backup system in case we lose them. Snapchat provides this option and in this article we’ll show you how.
Step 1- Install Snapchat
Open Account Whilst downloading Snapchat from your app store may have already done so, take this first step now: Register or login into your account once installed.
Step 2: Enable Backup
On Snapchat, open it up and tap your profile icon in the top-left corner. Next, to access settings, tap on the gear icon in the top-right corner, scroll down, and tap “Memories.”
Under Memories, you’ll find an option called “Backup Progress.” Simply toggle this switch on to enable automatic backups of your camera roll onto Snapchat.
Step 3: Customise Backup Settings
Snapchat provides several customizable backup options, such as “Only Save to My Eyes Only” and “Backup Over Cellular”. Simply configure these settings according to your individual needs.
If you would like your backups saved to a specific location or folder, simply tap on “Save Button” and choose the one where they belong.
Step 4: Start Backup
Once you have configured your backup settings, it’s time to begin backing up your camera roll on Snapchat. Simply tap “Backup Now” to initiate this process – Snapchat will automatically back up any new photos or videos added to your camera roll!
Step 5: Retrieve and Monitor Backups
To access and manage your backups, navigate to “Memories,” then “Camera Roll.” Here, you will see all your backups organized by date; from here you can edit, delete or share them as you please.
