Born on May 1, 2001, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Natanael Cano began his life’s journey in a modest middle-class setting. The artist credits much of his personal growth and values to his older siblings, Daneiry Cano and his elder brother. He witnessed the dedication of his father, a serviceman, and the nurturing warmth of his mother, a homemaker.

The Influence of Religion

Natanael’s childhood was infused with the principles of Christianity. Growing up in a deeply religious home, his faith revolved around Jesus Christ, significantly influencing his life’s values and perspectives.

The Educational Path of Natanael Cano

While much of Cano’s personal life remains veiled, his early academic years provide a glimpse into his journey. He commenced his educational odyssey at Hermosillo High School, subsequently enrolling in a nearby college in Mexico. Despite showcasing his musical talent at various family events, his academic journey had its own set of challenges, including an expulsion from high school. This setback, however, paved the way for a pivotal decision: to leave the traditional educational path and wholeheartedly dive into music.

Embarking on a Musical Career

The Formative Years

Cano’s initial foray into the music industry saw him primarily as a vocalist. His distinct voice graced tracks such as “El de Los Lentes Gucci”, “Sour Diesel”, “Platicame de ti”, “F1”, and “El MB” in 2018. As his style evolved, he began to merge traditional Mexican corridos with contemporary hip-hop, creating a unique and appealing fusion.

Breakthrough and Continued Success

2019 marked a significant year for Cano, as he released the impactful albums “Corridos Tumbados” and “Todo Es Diferente”. Singles such as “El de la Codeina”, “El Drip”, and “Soy El Diablo” further solidified his position in the industry. His collaboration with Bad Bunny on the remix of “Soy el Diablo” not only expanded his fanbase but also showcased his versatility as an artist. 2020 continued this upward trajectory, with Cano dropping albums like “Corridos Tumbados Vol. 2”, “Yo el Nata”, and “Las 3 Torres”, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his craft.

Legacy and Influence

Natanael Cano, with his distinctive blending of traditional and contemporary music, stands as a testament to the power of following one’s passion. Drawing inspiration from stalwarts like Ariel Camacho, Cano has carved out his own niche in the music world. His journey, punctuated by challenges and fueled by faith, continues to inspire budding artists globally.
